Michelle - Owner
I am so proud to be the owner of Touch Aveda Salon & Spa!
As a Lifestyle Aveda salon & spa, we carry the entire line of Aveda products, exclusively; this includes haircare, skincare, and Aveda hair color which is up to 97% naturally derived. I began my career with Aveda when I started the Skin Care Program at the Aveda Institute in St. Petersburg, FL; I implemented the skincare curriculum, where I taught for several years before becoming the Retail Manager for the Institute. As Retail Manager, I gained additional knowledge and expertise about Aveda Products for both hair and skin and ultimately decided I wanted to open my own Aveda Salon & Spa, if I could find the right location; I found what I was looking for in Westchase and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of such a wonderful community. Today, I combine my experience with Aveda and my passion for the incredible products to bring the very best of Aveda to the Guests we serve. At Touch Aveda Salon & Spa, our guests are like family to us and the words in our mission statement express exactly how we feel toward them: "We Care, We Ask, We Listen…We Touch". Nikki - Retail Associate
Nikki is from East Lyme, Conneticut. She moved to Tampa, Florida at a young age. Her favorite AVEDA products are Green Science Eye Cream, Smoothing Fluid and the entire Color Conserve line. The thing she loves most about AVEDA is that the color is up to 97% naturally derived and that all of our products are plant and flower based. Nikki's passion for the business? Beth - Retail Associate
Beth is from the Tampa Bay area. She has worked with Aveda at a 4-Diamond resort and names AVEDA Foot Relief as one of her favorite products. "Not only does it exfoliate and moisturize, it also has odor fighting ingredients! Aveda thought of everything!", she says.
Jacqui - Hair Designer: Senior Level
Jacqui is from Belleair Beach, Florida. Her AVEDA products of choice are Tourmaline Charged Radiance Mask, Control Force Hair Spray, Light Elements Defining Whip and Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener. What she loves most about AVEDA is their ethical standpoints, using international community outreach programs and partnerships with nonprofit organizations that are committed to social and environmental improvement. When asked what her passion for the business is, Jacqui says "I love to help people feel good and look great. I have a passion for learning the latest techniques & styles to help my guests keep up with the latest trends that suit their lifestyle".
Johnene - Hair Designer: Senior Level
Johnene was born in Reading, PA and grew up in Delaware. She names Volumizing Tonic and Phomollient as her favorite AVEDA products. " I love the concept of our natural beauty approach and green initiatives", she says when asked what she loves most about AVEDA. Johnene's passion for the business? " I have a passion for building relationships with people and enjoy bringing out their inner beauty and making clients walk out with smiles!"
Samantha - Hair Designer: Senior Level
Samantha is from St. Louis, MO. Her favorite AVEDA products are Scalp Benefits Shampoo and Conditioner, Aveda Sun Care Shampoo/Body Cleanser, Damage Remedy Control Line. When asked what she loves most about AVEDA, she refers to a portion of the Aveda Mission Statement that sums it up for her: "Our mission at Aveda is to care for the world we live in from the products we make to the ways in which we give back to society." Sarah is from Faribault, Minnesota. Wyoming hails from Wayne, NJ. She spent a bit of time in Maryland and now calls Florida home. The thing she loves most about AVEDA is that "Aveda remains the frontrunner in keeping our environment clean and promoting overall 'green' living." Her passion for the business is being able to be creative and expand her technical knowledge. "I also love that I truly get to know the people that sit in my chair.
